Light the tip of the incense stick until a flame is established, then allow it to burn for a few seconds until a red glow and a gentle wisp of smoke are seen 

Gently extinguish by blowing or fanning out the flame

Place the unlit end in an appropriate incense burner

Place your burning stick away from curtains, lampshades and all objects that could catch fire easily. 

Burn in a ventilated area

Never leave the burning stick unattended

Keep the burning stick away from the reach of children and pets

Store incense sticks in a cool dry place
