Dubai's tap water is almost entirely desalinated seawater, purified by reverse osmosis and then re-mineralised before it reaches your home. At the source, DEWA water is soft and low in minerals, with total dissolved solids commonly reported in the range of roughly 100 to 350 mg/L depending on area and building.
